“Melania” Twenty Days to History

“Melania” Twenty Days to History

Melania takes us places that mere humans will never tread and she makes us feel welcome. No other documentary has ever, or can ever, provide the point of view of this movie. Even haters will learn valuable insights into one of the most famous women in modern history.

The first 10 minutes feel more like a good Rock Music video, the Rolling Stones and Michael Jackson provide the opening songs. Then Melania lays out the game-plan, and begins to narrate her daily activities, over the 20 day period, leading up to the Second Presidential inauguration (January 20th, 2025).

All the planning details Melania oversees is really quite surprising and we get to see her process and how she manages her duties and lavish lifestyle. In every scene she is surrounded by body guards and personal staff. In some scenes we see real live job interviews. In others it’s the motorcade details.

This documentary was created in less than one year, extremely well produced with dozens of unique settings and some very intimate inside moments. Not scripted or staged like a movie, the people involved know there’s a camera recording everything but the scenes are more like reality television.

Mar-a-Lago plays a starring role in set design, like you’ve never seen before. All the while Melania provides a smooth voice-over, to explain the deep meaning that her house in Florida has for her. She shares insights into her family and deep love and loss for her mother. Also, her father is honored and has an important part, as well as contributing some of his home-made video.

Melania opening weekend

Most of all, what rings true for me, from watching this 1 hour 44 minute documentary, is that we are witness, to the greatest First Lady of All time. Melania takes her role so seriously, and honestly acts, as though it were a sacred mission. She dedicates herself to the cause of American children.

The return to normalcy portrayed in the film, is led by a super model, as Melania is sure to inspire millions of young women. Something about her quiet, strong demeanour is attractive and compelling to see. She carries herself with confidence and it’s addictive to watch.

Seeing this documentary on a big screen was worth it and I recommend that people see it in the theatres. Get some popcorn and think about everything that has happened since the Presidential inauguration one year ago.

My feeling after watching “Melania” is that her movie premier was planned for launch on January 30th, as a warm-up act, for the main event to take place in February. Now I’ve cast my theory here in writing, so we can come back an look to see. Expect the Trump Card to be played, while the audience is still pumped-up and cheering.
